I am dedicating my altar to all of the kids in the foster system who were not able to make it out or who committed suicide due to the emotional and psychological trauma. On the first level, I have placed toys for you to enjoy in the afterlife. To the foster kids currently in the system, trying to overcome the obstacles faced in this life & trying to stay strong- (on the second level) I leave rocks to keep you grounded in the faith that things will get better, I promise. Lastly, to the foster kids who have made it out of the system and are in the process of healing from the wounds of the past- (On the third level), I have placed an ofrenda, Pumpkin cookie, to delight your soul and a photo, to show you have far you come. This is for all of you.
