Public Art Projects

These are the Public Art Proposals created in the CS180 Contemporary Xicanx/Latinx Art class in the Spring 2020. The original idea was to create physical projects on campus, but as the pandemic happened and everything changed we switched over to creating proposals. This allowed students to imagine public art projects without any limitations. They could propose projects of any size and propose to install them anywhere. They came up with some amazing projects from posters to installations and performances.
