Because of the pandemic we are not able to gather on campus to honor our ancestors in community as we usually do, but we still have our ofrendas to make. As we shelter at home we’re creating altares to remember those that came before us as we invite them into our homes to visit and remind us of our roots. The online exhibition features altares made at home by UC Berkeley students who have opened up their homes to share their creations. Art by Brittany Aguilera and Tatiana Aguilera
