I can’t normalize the violence and death that happen to migrants, immigrants, refugees, children, women, men, etc.

*Too many

This goes out to all of those who died looking for a better future, their only future. Too many coyotes and migra agents deceive and abuse the most vulnerable. La Bestia is not kind to children legs, children’s lives. We are not kind to them either. I am sorry this world couldn’t keep you safe.

The unbearable sun, intolerable cold, unendurable thirst, should not be accompanied with deadly deserts, mountains, rios, but are.

They are inhumane hurdles that no one should ever have to cross, but do. Not enough miracles happen at the border, close to the border, on the way to the border, or ever.

No te los lleves. Cuidalos.
Tuya,
Diana Jauregui Iñiguez – a lucky immigrant
