As we see the Altar, it is free-standing. The Holy Table is made of wood, and its plan is square, and its dimension is 56cm*56cm. The table is covered by plain linens. At the center of the altar is my grandfather’s photograph. In China, it’s customary to place the photo of the deceased in the middle for worship. On the right side of the portrait, I place one succulent. I want the dead to still see the green plants and breathe the fresh air even if they were no longer living. In China, the amount of tribute is required, such as three or multiple of three. Thus, in front of the picture frame, I put three kinds of food, namely orange, tin can and rice. Since these are cooked food, they can be enjoyed at any time. On the right side of the rice, I place one candle. Besides, I put some flowers instead of burning paper. In addition, I put jack-o-lanterns, handmade skulls, and white skull jars as decoration.
