My inspiration for this Altar Project is the entity and representation of Latina Women throughout the years of culture and history. I wanted to focus primarily on honoring strong resilient women who embodied the strengths and weaknesses of the Chicana identity and those who grew in hardship yet persevered and always fought for a better life.
