Memoria de la familia.

My ofrenda honors my great-grandmother, my grandfather, my cousin and a close loved one. I honor my great-grandmother with her rocking chair and vinyl records. There is a jewelry box that was given to my mother and a cross that was given to me are memories we had to remember her love.

My grandpa loved his hats and to honor him there is one of his hats placed against his wedding photo. There are a few joints of marijuana I made for him to enjoy. This will relax him and relieve him of any body and joint pain he carries.

Trish is a beautiful kind soul that was taken too soon. She looks down as protects her daughter and granddaughter every day. She is resting with her grandmother. I placed photos that capture the memory of her bright smile.

Miles is a loved one we lost recently this year. He was a young incredible soul that was taken too soon from us. He loved kit-kats and was a big Lakers fan. There are purple and yellow flowers placed by his photos.

There are fabric ties for each person honored with tobacco, sage, chamomile, hibiscus, eucalyptus, and marijuana in each knot. These are all elements my loved ones will enjoy.

My ofrenda was handled with care every step of the way. Each piece is meaningful and a display of love. This ofrenda keeps their memory alive in our home and hearts. To make these memories less of a distant past.
