The color of the table cover is white since white is the color that represents funeral in my culture. I have placed many different types of ancestor money on the lower level of the altar because I want to make sure my grandparents have enough money to spend in heaven. The Chinese burn paper money to find ways to make the dead relatives live a little better there, and to pin their thoughts. The fruits have different positive meanings that are wished for the later generations. Persimmon means everything goes well, apple represents peace, and pear represents good fortune. There are flowers and wheat on the sides of the altar. My grandma used to love flowers when she was alive. My grandfather planted wheat while he was young. The incense sticks are my worship for them. The cups and chopsticks are meant to be use by my grandparents to eat the foods.
